How to Measure a Boys Tuxedo Suit
Measure a little boys jacket that fits your child well. If you do not have a jacket, you may also measure your child and add 1 - 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm) to your child's measurements to obtain the jacket measurements.
- Shoulder Width (Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam) - Measure from the top of the left sleeve at the shoulder straight across to the top of the right sleeve.
- Sleeve Length - Measure from the shoulder seam at the top of the sleeve to the bottom of the sleeve.
- Chest - Measure underneath the arms around the body at the thickest part of the chest.
Measure pants that fit your child well.
- Measure around the natural waistline which is about 2 inches (5 cm) above the navel (bellly button). An elastic waist can stretch another 1 - 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm).
- Pants Length - Measure from the waist to the floor.
- Inseam - Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the pants leg.
